Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH)

To evalate infertility, function of ovaries or testicles, or pituitary gland function to diagnose early or delayed sexual maturity in children (Puberty).

In women, to evaluate infertility. If a woman is having irregular or absence of menstrual periods. In men, to investigate infertility, low sperm count, low muscle mass or decreased sex drive. when a pituitary disorder or hypothalamic disorder is suspected. when a child has delayed or early sexual maturation(puberty).
