Aldosterone / Direct Renin Ratio

To detect any abnormal aldosterone and renin levels, to diagnose hormonal (endocrine) disorders like primary aldosteronism (PA, Conn syndrome).

When symptoms or signs associated with increased aldosterone levels are present( elevated blood pressure, muscle weakness, and low Potassium), or low aldosterone levels( low blood pressure, high potassium, and low sodium).
