Bengaluru, September 8, 2023: With presence in eight states and 25 locations across India, Tenet Medcorp Pvt. Ltd., doing business as Tenet Diagnostics, is preparing to invest Rs. 100 crores in the expansion of Karnataka. The change would improve the state's access to the most advanced infrastructure and services for diagnostics, laboratory services, and preventative healthcare.
With this investment, by 2025, Tenet Diagnostics will have 15 locations instead of the present 5. Jayanagar, Sadashivanagar, Indiranagar, Marathahalli, and Whitefield are its five locations in Bengaluru. By the end of 2023, two centers in Mysore and Mangalore will be open. In addition to its existing staff of 800+ technicians and 150+ doctors, Tenet Diagnostics will create an additional 1500+ skilled positions. With this, the organization will have more than 2500 committed employees working to meet the community's healthcare needs.
Speaking on the occasion, D Suresh, Chairman of Tenet Diagnostics, says, “We started in 2018 with a mission to transform the Indian diagnostics industry by introducing the latest technology and infrastructure in Radiology and Laboratory services. We wanted Tenet Diagnostics to be the main reference lab in South India, stopping all specialty tests from going to Mumbai and North India. To date, we have catered to over 50 lakhs+ patients and processed 1.5+ crore tests with one of India's largest test menus with nearly all patients and processed 1.5+ crore tests with one of the largest test menus in India with close to 3000+ blood tests. We have also screened 1000+ corporate hospitals and MNCs across India onsite.”

Elaborating on the expansion plans, Devineni Sricharan, Executive Director of Tenet Diagnostics, explains, “We started with one center in Hyderabad in 2018 and have since expanded to Karnataka, AP, Telangana, Maharashtra, Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa and UP. Tenet Diagnostics has registered a 100% turnover YOY, and we plan to touch Rs. 150+ crore this year. Karnataka is instrumental in our growth story. We plan to invest 100 crores to start 15 centers providing advanced PET-CT, Gamma Camera, MRI, CT, Laboratory services, Ultrasound, X-ray, 2D echo, TMT, PFT, Mammography, ECG, EEG, ENMG, Audiometry, OPG, Corporate screening, Hospital lab management and preventive healthcare packages.”
“Additionally, we have partnered with Ohio State University and entered ground-breaking master research collaborations with companies like Siemens and United Imaging. The project concentrated on developing cutting-edge radiology and pathology strategies for resolving challenging clinical problems using the most recent technology, including AI and scan data. One of the results was a 50% reduction in patient scanning time, which improved customer satisfaction. We will keep collaborating with other parties to use technology, research, and resources to raise the bar for diagnostic and laboratory services.” he adds.
